Help A New Mother On Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is on May 12 and we want to help new mothers and their babies receive the supplies they need to start off well! We are doing a drive to collect supplies for expecting mothers and new babies. All items we collect will be donated to Birthright in Des Moines. There is a full list of needed items below.

We hope you will consider joining us in celebrating Mother’s Day by visiting the Right To Life Book Sale and donating items to new mothers!

Want to help out?

1. Drop off your items at the Connections Christian Church booth at the Right to Life Book Sale at Jordan Park Camp in West Des Moines (map below) between April 16-20.
2. Contact Connections by emailing: whitmore@connectionschristian.org or calling 515-255-8668. We will arrange a time to pick the items up by April 27th.
3. Consider also buying books at the Right To Life book sale (proceeds go to new and expectant mothers).

Items Requested

(Gender neutral items are suggested)

• Onesies - 0-3 and 3-6 months
• Receiving Blankets
• Newborn Night Gowns
• Hooded Baby Bath Towels
• Diapers (especially sizes 4-6)
• Baby Wipes
• New or Used “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” Books
• Gift Cards at Target or Wal-Mart to be used for diapers when run low
