The name Connections came from considerable input and long discussions about who we want to be and how we want to be perceived. Interestingly, the name Connections was not among our list of possibilities. As we talked, the word “connect” kept coming up. We wanted to see more connections between people to build friendships and to hold one another accountable in our Christian walk. We definitely want to see people connect with Jesus and go deeper in their relationship with Him. The name “Connections” just fits with what we are called to do.
Yes. We are an autonomous Body of believers (meaning there is no outside organization that directs us or controls us). The Word of God is our authority (2 Timothy 3:16-17). The Scriptures teach us that Jesus is the Head of His Church (Ephesians 1:22-23).
We have a leadership chosen from within the Church Body at Connections as directed by God’s Word (Elders, Ministers, Deacons).
We take communion weekly. You don’t need to be a member of Connections to share in the Communion. You only need to be a baptized believer in Christ.
Most important is to sing songs that glorify God. We use a mix of music types. We sing new songs, old songs, old songs made new. We use both a modern and traditional sound. If you like it upbeat, we have that. If you like hymns played by piano, we have that. We want to be a family church, not an age-specific church. To do this, we must celebrate with a variety of music styles that glorifies God.
We include the offering in our worship time each week. It’s an opportunity to express our gratitude to God for how He provides. If you are a visitor, you are welcome to participate in the offering, but please don’t feel obligated to do so.
There is no dress-code. People wear shorts and flip-flops, jeans and t-shirts, suits, dresses, and casual dress. The best rule to go by is to dress modestly and respectfully.
Bring your Bible. Bring a friend. Bring an open heart. Bring a smile. Bring laughter. Just come!

Yes, absolutely. We do have a nursery available if you chose to use it. However, it is not required that you use the nursery.
A nursery is provided for children up to age 3. During the sermon in the service, we also send our kids from age 3 to 3rd grade to enjoy a lesson for their age group.
